{A personal-life post}
I don't typically do personal posts on this blog, but it's been a bit dusty here since we've been in vacation mode, so I figured what the hey. Promise I'll be back this week with some more grannies and layouts to share.
We were lucky enough to spend a fabulous day celebrating my great uncle's
85th birthday at their lakeside cottage, a place we affectionately refer
to as "Camp". Here are some shots from the gorgeous day:
The first four are taken by my cousin, the incredibly talented photographer:
I love how my oldest and I are clueless about this photo being taken, but my little guy is all smiles for the camera.

Logan getting thrown in by my brother:
This is what summer is all about:
The boys had a super fun time tubing:
And going for rides in the boat:
I needed to get wet before donning the ol' water skis for a quick lap around the drink.
Um, yeah, I hadn't been on skis in prob'ly 20 years,
and not only that, but my body was 20 years younger then.
Took three tries to finally get up.
Trust me, that smile is masking all the fear running through me as I hold on for dear life.
This one sums up how I was feeling a lot better: somewhere between 'Oh. My. God. Help me!' and 'what the heck was I thinking doing this?'
We hit a couple of rough patches and I couldn't help but scream like a girl.

But boy did it feel great gliding into the dock at the end.
Cross that one off the list of things to do before I'm 40.
Yup, it was a good day!
Of course, tomorrow when I can't walk, well that will be a different story.
Well this is a super post, M! So nice to have the camera turned on you for a change, caught some great candids!
